1995
The idea
Caught by the idea that not all lighting is created equal, our director, Adam Johnson, begins his path to the eventual creation of Ark Lighting. Through 25 years in the industry, he has gained valuable knowledge of lighting best practices and industry trends.
2012
The birth of Ark Lighting
Ark Lighting is created in order to offer custom and creative lighting solutions to those who aren’t satisfied with the status quo. With a goal of providing an incomparable selection of high-end lighting products and fixtures as well as the design and consulting knowledge to create unique lighting landscapes, the company is born. From the beginnings in a home office, after a few months Ark Lighting engages it’s first employee and moves to a small office & Warehouse in Fitzroy North

Making a move
With a strong and steady growth Ark Lighting moves to a larger office & warehouse premise in Heidelberg, providing more space that allows Ark Lighting to increase product availability and employee more people power to assist our clients.

Cementing our position
By 2018 Ark Lighting has established itself as a leading supplier of quality lighting options with exemplary support and knowledge our clients can rely on. Ark Lighting move to a larger office & warehouse in Nunawading.

Weathering the COVID-19 storm Ark Lighting continues to go from strength to strength delivering creative lighting solutions and providing quality products with the design and consulting knowledge first envisaged back in 2012.
