The Optical Co

Set within one of Melbourne’s most iconic heritage buildings, The Optical Co demanded a lighting solution that complemented its architectural charm without overpowering it. Ark Lighting’s design centred on subtlety and precision, selecting compact fittings to suit the store’s shallow ceiling profile. Our Eos downlights were installed in pairs, balancing ambient warmth with targeted illumination. The result is a clean, contemporary space that spotlights the eyewear—while quietly honouring its historic surroundings.
