To receive a certification, a business must achieve a B Lab Impact Assessment Score of 80 points through a comprehensive review, conducted every 3 years.

What we've achieved so far
Plastic-Free Packaging Initiative
In an industry where plastic packaging is still the standard, we challenged our suppliers to do things differently. Despite the increased cost of going plastic-free, we chose to absorb it—because for us, sustainability is a responsibility, not a calculation.
Powered by Green Energy
Ark Lighting is proudly powered by Momentum Energy, owned by Australia's largest generator of renewable energy, Hydro Tasmania. Which means, we are supporting Australian renewable energy sources and reducing our operational carbon footprint
Refurbishment & Reuse Program
To extend the life of our products, Ark Lighting offers a refurbishment program—taking back used fittings for repair, reuse, or responsible recycling.
Recycled Materials in Production
We’ve partnered with a supplier using 50% recycled plastic—and while it’s currently a small part of our range, we are actively working to expand its use across more products.
Ethical Supplier Relationships
We prioritise working with suppliers who meet our Code of Conduct, ensuring ethical labour practices and environmental responsibility through regular engagement and site visits.
Towards Zero Waste
Through considered operational practices and staff-led initiatives, we are moving steadily towards a zero-waste workplace—embedding sustainability into the everyday.
